As well as providing the contemporary look favoured by some, our clients include Marquee operators who have sought to enhance the standard ivory lining offer that all have available in their hire stock. These pictures provide a glimpse of the many patterns that we have created for our clients internationally. Many provide a “touch of India” by incorporating traditional motifs in many colours on to a cream background, simply done so that some companies market these as their “English Country Garden” selection.
Comments from satisfied end-users have indicated how easy it has been with our linings to turn a plain marquee into something memorable, how it has made the choice of flowers so easy and the difference they have made in producing a memorable event for a bride or party giver.
With these linings, the simple addition of sumptuous draping and swags, themed extras, rugs and furniture soon produce a completely different effect to satisfy the client looking for a more exotic feel. To take a further step, we have manufactured bespoke patterns on to saffrons, pistachios, blues and really any colour you can think of to provide the magical feel of being in India, Arabia, Thailand or other parts of the world.
All of our linings are made of Trevira CS (Katty 200gsm), inherently fire retardant complies to BS 7837:1996, BS 5867 part 2 type B, CPAI 84:1995 Sec 6 and NFPA 701. They are suitable for clearspan marquees and are also available for pole marquees on request.
They are hand block printed by our skilled and experienced staff in a range of designs and colours or made to your specific needs. The block printing process is done by hand. The maximum size of the block is roughly 5″ square and many of the motifs employ 2 or 3 blocks to make up the print. Each block is hand carved using the local hard wood known as sheesham. Block printing is a very skilled process as just the right amount of pressure has to be applied and this varies from block to block depending on size. The colours used are fixed and are machine washable.
The linings are manufactured by a happy workforce with a great team spirit which, in turn, produces satisfactory results for our valued buyers. Child labour is strictly avoided and an atmosphere of belonging prevails. Resposibility is taken for the education of employee's children. Admissions, books, monthly fees, school dresses are all paid for. Clients are welcome to visit our factory in Ambala City, India should they wish.
We will require the dimensions and make of the Marquee that you wish to be lined.
